About Me

Background

My name is Tenicke. I am currently studying for my National Certificate for Creative Media Design: Design Techniques (graphic design) and is actively applying to other universities and colleges to study further for my Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design. I have hands-on experience in both digital and print media and would love to begin my own graphic design company one day.

Biography

I found my love for graphic design when I was 17, after my grandfather passed away and I had to design flyers, bookmarks and a video for his memorial service. My grandfather became my inspiration to study graphic design further as he was artistic himself and loved to sketch and paint. My mother studied fashion design, my father does engineering and has to make technical drawings, so did my grandfather and my grandmother on my mother’s side also likes to sketch things, so my creativity comes from various people in my family.


I have loved creating and drawing things and playing with Lego’s when I was a child and wanted to become an architect when I was younger, but everything changed when I began designing my grandfathers memorial cards.


By designing business cards for my father’s company and shadowing at a graphic design company, also doing a few design jobs for them, I have gathered hands-on experience in the graphic design industry.

USN Package Design

About:
USN, a prominent brand in sports nutrition, is preparing to launch a new line of wholefood and superfood-based products under the name futurefood. This new product offering aims to expand the brand’s market reach while appealing to health-conscious consumers and younger demographics. The campaign must retain USN’s established brand credibility while offering a fresh, relevant, and appealing visual identity for futurefood.

Task:
I have been commissioned to develop the design and campaign strategy for this launch. The deliverables must communicate the product’s unique value proposition and align with USN’s existing brand guidelines, while appealing to a new generation of consumers.

USN Package Design

I designed a complete corporate visual identity for Eco Wave Power, an emerging eco-tech start-up focused on sustainable innovation. The project involves:

  • Design Process: Research, concept development, execution, and brand documentation.
  • Learning Outcomes: Mastery of 2D and 3D design, understanding branding principles, and how visual identity shapes brand experience.

I applied industry-standard tools and techniques to create consistent, print-ready and digital assets. The identity must reflect the brand’s purpose, engage its audience, and work across various formats. You’ll receive iterative feedback from a facilitator acting as the client, and document both the creative process and final designs in a portfolio.

App Prototype Design

I had to design an interactive mobile app prototype for Nike Fitness, promoting healthy living through workout plans, dietary guidance, and progress tracking. The app will act as a digital fitness companion, offering personalized user engagement.
